StyleMind ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it when you use our platform.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account data — When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and billing information.
  • Store data — To power your StyleMind agent, we access product catalogs, order history, and shopper interaction logs through your connected e-commerce platform.
  • Usage data — We collect logs of how you use the StyleMind dashboard, including feature interactions, session durations, and error reports.
  • Shopper data — StyleMind processes body measurements, style preferences, and purchase intent data on behalf of your store. This data is processed under your instruction as a data controller.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the StyleMind platform and AI models.
  • To personalize product recommendations and fit scores for shoppers visiting your store.
  • To send transactional emails (receipts, alerts, security notices). We do not send marketing emails without explicit consent.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. Data Sharing

  • We do not sell your personal data or your shoppers' data to third parties.
  • We share data with trusted service providers (cloud hosting, payment processors, analytics) under strict data processing agreements.
  • We may disclose data if required by law, regulation, or a valid legal process.

4. Data Retention

  • Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days after cancellation.
  • Shopper interaction logs are retained for 12 months by default. You may configure shorter retention windows in your dashboard.
  • You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting hello@stylemind.in.

5. Security

  • All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256).
  • We conduct regular penetration tests and security audits.
  • Access to production data is role-based and logged.

6. Your Rights

  • Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data.
  • EU/EEA residents have rights under GDPR. California residents have rights under CCPA.

7. Cookies

  • We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management.
  • With your consent, we use analytics cookies (first-party) to understand dashboard usage.
  • We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

8. Changes to This Policy

  • We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you by email and in-app notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect.
  • Continued use of StyleMind after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
